Die Scheune - The cow stable

Hello lovelies


Since 2018 I have been surrounded of new projects and ideas,  so there was not time to post a reasonable history. Sorry about that, but I am sure you will like this one:)

My husband and I were very busy with the renovation of an old,  dark and little cow barn, I felt in love of the idea of giving this little barn a face lifting so we took the challenge and started with the renovation work,  painting it all, a tiny WC was installed and water was put on. Of course we had professional help as well :) because my husband works, and I have the kids at home, I work too, we used every free weekend and every free night to work on the farm but without the help of the professional workers, none of these could have been possible.

In the beginning I did not know exactly what to use this barn for, I just knew that I needed a place to storage my products from the online shop and maybe to use it to offer workshops, but as we were approaching to the end of the renovation work,  I decided that it  was to pitty to keep the place just for that, the barn got a lot of charm after the renovation work, so I opened for a second time Los MiMis Armoire :)

Let me show you some pictures of before and after, take into considereation that we used  80% salvage material from the barn itself to rebuilt. What so you think?  I really would love to read your comments about it, it was such hard and intensive work, we are exhausted but very proud, you have to sacrifice so many things to come to your target, so I am really  looking forward to read your thoughts and of course looking forward to new followers for our Instagram account as well :)
